Biography

Dr. Miles Madison earned his DDS with Honors from UCLA in 1989 and completed his specialty training in periodontology at UCSF in 1991. He has led the Beverly Hills Periodontal Institute since 2000.
His work includes periodontal surgery, soft-tissue grafting, bone reconstruction, and dental implants. Additional training has included microsurgery, sinus augmentation with Professor Manuel Chanavaz in France, and an anesthesiology rotation at Mount Zion Hospital.
Patients often describe his gentle touch, calm manner, and willingness to explain each step. He gives an honest assessment of what treatment can achieve and makes time for questions. Many families have returned to the practice across generations.
He earned his BS Magna Cum Laude at USC, which he entered at sixteen. His dental school honors include the Periodontology Award, the Robert P. Thye Alumni Award for Scholastic Achievement, and membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon.

Dr. Miles Madison is faculty at gIDE, the Global Institute for Dental Education. He co-directs its Full Arch Workshop with Dr. Sascha Jovanovic and teaches in the Master Clinician Program.
He and Dr. Ethan Madison co-direct Everyday Soft Tissue Mastery, a two-day course with lectures, practical training, and live surgery. They teach gum grafting techniques to dentists and dental specialists and lecture nationally and internationally on soft-tissue surgery.
He also directs soft-tissue grafting education at WIIC and serves as President and Principal Lecturer of Advanced Dental Education. His advisory work includes a role as a Straumann Key Opinion Leader.
His lectures include digital full-arch implant therapy, and he has moderated the Straumann Corporate Forum at the American Academy of Periodontology Annual Meeting.
